Philly: *she was about to ask something else before her last statement broke her curiosity “O-oh! okay, sorry for the wait” *she walked over to the double doors that lead inside and after unlocking it with a key she had somehow had on her she pushed the door open, letting the sweet smell of herbs and teas flow into the air, along with a slight metallic undertone* “please coming in” *she said as she held the door open for The Princess*
Philly: *it wasn’t messy really, just old, and it almost looked like the main building itself was carved out of one large piece of wood* “m-might I know what’s bothering you? I wish not to anger my ruler…” *that last part was supposed to stay in her head, but it somehow got out*
Philly: *she nodded and her wings twitched a bit, glowing for a second before they were wrapped in bright light and appeared outside of a strange, very old looking store* “oh… and umm… sorry…” *she had always been good at reading emotions, she kind of had to be with the ponies she dealt with, so she clearly saw her displeasure at that statement*
Philly: “no, it is just fine, and the sooner the better I suppose, after all it is quite the ways away, and I do not know how you feel about teleporting” *that last part felt stupid to say, she was implying that one of the most powerful mares in Equestria couldn’t handle a somewhat simple spell, and yet, at the same time, she’d met plenty of powerful beings that opposed the practice because it could be painful*
Philly: *she didn’t know if the Princess’s interest disconcerting her or releaved her, or perhaps both in some strange way* “v-very well, do you want to leave now?” *it wasn’t like she’d be opposed to waiting a few minutes, after all she’d not given a tour in quite some time, and she needed to think of what she would say*
What can the unconscious mind recall? Can it recall the one place that meets between rationality and insanity, a world torn between order and freedom. Upon opening one’s eyes to this strange place, it would seem like a small town, carefree and calm and unnaturally clean, yet there was no sign of…
Ladies and gentlemen, even if this is a repost of the Prologue, I am finally getting off my ass! The name of the blog is still kind of in flux, but the story is finally underway! I’m hoping to update this baby weekly on the weekends, maybe twice if I have my mojo moving over the week, but this is it, no turning back, IT TIME TO GET FLIPPING CRAZY!
[well, I suppose it’s finally time to start working on this sort of thing again, hopefully we can do this!]
Philly: *she seriously thought for a moment… would that even be a good idea? her shop wasn’t exactly known for its charms, even if she tried her best to make the shop look appealing, and most of what she did for research could be considered against the law, though after weighing the risks she had her answer* “perhaps… a small tour could be arranged your Majesty, that is if it would not interrupt your royal duties… and you don’t mind the fact I am rather bland at times”
Philly: *she was starting to become unnerved, not only was she basically in a stare down with a princess she was also having to talk about herself to a pony she didn’t really know all that well* “w-well… I-I mostly sell what I can make, or find… so there really is a variety!” *she was just doing her best not to faint now, and that meant she had to start being a bit more energetic*
Philly: *she let out a long sigh* “sadly, we’ll just have to look a bit, I tend to avoid the town to be honest so I don’t know much of what’s there, though I have heard of a new club house that was built…. perhaps we can go pub crawling then?”
